How Clean is Your River?
by
Jennifer Swainston
Hi Thanks for visiting...

I am a non-fiction author and speaker specializing in human and wildlife interactions. Especially how nature works for us and how we benefit from understanding what the natural world can both tell us and teach us.
I have specific interests in semi-arid, freshwater and coastal habitats. I also love forests and planting trees.
Think of all the major cities which in 1850 either did not exist or were small villages. The huge influx of humans gravitating to coastal areas has marked the growth of major cities. Now with climate change and sea level rises we are looking at a potential housing crisis. Even away from the coast, flood plains have been built up into towns and suburbs. We are at a crisis point where we now need to work with nature and to understand its ways.
